Detailed Description
ERW pipe (Electric Resistance Welding pipe) is a pipe product that realizes continuous welding of metal strips through resistance heat effect. The core technology employs Joule's law (Q=I²Rt), where high-frequency current generates instantaneous high temperatures (1200-1400°C) at metal interfaces through contact resistance under electrode pressure. This induces a thermoplastic state, enabling metallurgical bonding via extrusion rollers.

Main Application Areas
Due to their excellent comprehensive performance and cost-effectiveness, ERW steel pipes are widely used in various sectors of the national economy:
● Oil and Gas Transportation: Used for low and medium pressure fluid transmission lines, such as natural gas, oil, coal gas, etc.
● Water Conservancy Projects: Used for water supply pipelines, drainage pipelines, irrigation systems.
● Structural Use: Widely used in building structures, bridge supports, scaffolding, mechanical equipment frames, etc.
● Piling Pipes: Used as foundation piling pipes, such as for docks, bridges, and foundations of high-rise buildings.
● Mining: Shoulder pipes are widely used in mining for ventilation systems and drainage due to their cost-effectiveness and reliable welded seams.
● Casing and Tubing: Used in oil drilling for well wall support (casing) and oil extraction (tubing).
● Fire Protection Systems: Used for fire sprinkler system pipelines.
● Heating and Cooling: Used for heating pipes and air conditioning system pipelines.
● Other Industrial Applications: Such as automotive manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, electrical conduits, sign poles, towers & transmission lines etc.
Advantages of ERW Steel Pipe
High Production Efficiency: The ERW process is highly automated with fast production speeds, capable of meeting large-volume order demands.
Cost-Effectiveness: Compared to seamless steel pipes, ERW pipes offer better cost-effectiveness for specific specifications and applications.
High Dimensional Accuracy: ERW pipes have good wall thickness uniformity and small outer diameter tolerances.
Weld Quality: Modern ERW technology, combined with heat treatment processes, can make the weld zone's properties close to those of the parent material.
Smooth Surface: The internal and external surfaces of ERW pipes are relatively smooth, which is beneficial for fluid transport and anti-corrosion coating adhesion.
We are committed to providing high-quality ERW steel pipes, strictly manufactured according to international standards, and can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Whether for structural support, fluid transport, or other industrial applications, our ERW steel pipes deliver reliable performance.
