UL/FM Approved Red Painted Fire Sprinkler Steel Pipe from China Suppliers - Premium Quality Factory Products
Detailed Description of Fire Sprinkler Steel Pipe
Fire sprinkler steel pipes are intended for automatic fire sprinkler systems. The primary purpose of these pipes is to automatically activate in the initial stages of a fire, discharging water uniformly across the given protected location to either contain or extinguish the fire. Our fire sprinkler pipes are mainly manufactured of quality carbon steel (Q235B) as the base metal, and manufactured by the (electric resistance welded) ERW process to production uniformity in the weld and high pressure resistance.
Two Main Surface Treatment Options AvailableCorrosion protection of steel pipes is crucial in fire suppression systems because they usually have stagnant lines filled with water. We offer two main types of external surface treatment: red epoxy coating and hot dipped galvanizing. Firstly, the red epoxy coating offers good corrosion resistance and easy identification within complex systems. Secondly, the hot dipped galvanizing creates a layer of zinc-iron alloy on both the outside and inside of the pipe to combat corrosion, offering robust and long term protection against corrosion and is a good option for dry pipe and pre-action systems, (especially in corrosive environments).
